My drawing Final for Jonathan Sylvia’s Class

We were given two words ” wall transformation” and that was all the information we had to work with.

I made a tapestry of words that created a frustrating and intimate space for the viewer. The text in the tapestry is illegible until you really pay close attention. Drawings are scattered across the floor and a recording of me singing a song played during the experience.

I wanted to make a piece about the barriers and translations of words and how much mine have gotten me into trouble with the people I really care about. It’s been a really frustrating and emotional experience to have to let go of my tendencies to keep things very detached and internal to the point where I come off as rude or insensitive when really i care too much.

wont embarass my friend/s so I used the photos taken of me going through my latest spacial dynamics project

The prompt for this assignment was to use a module in increments of 100, 500, 1000 ( etc.) to either create a sculpture or create something that performs a function. The module is supposed to be transformed and not “visible”.

I made a “play space” that viewers can walk through and interact with.

P.S.

My module was a dental floss pick.

I want to put up more of my arts, but I have gotten really behind on my portfolio shot taking
